5000 Institutional End-user Database

● MIC Research Institute has developed database of 5000 companies’ information.This strong database has been continuously updated since 1999.Attributes of 5000 entries are summarized below.

● MIC conducts a user survey to update the database every year with two yearly alternating themes; “Computer Server User Survey” and “Server Software User Survey”.Thanks to this continuously and periodically updated database, our clients’ do not need sample screening and will be benefited from a higher collection rate, quicker responses, and better cost performance.These features are our strong edges against our competitors.
● Collection rate of a mail survey ranges generally from 40 to 60%; the rate depends on questionnaire specifics and also rewards.
● In 2003 we conducted a contract research on mainframe migration.In the prior year, a survey with mostly same specifications was conducted by one of our competitors for the same client.The results: we achieved more than one month shorter survey period and 40% less expensive cost.
● The number of research projects using the database is limited to approx. 4/year.This is to maintain the high degree of cooperation of respondents.
